Avoid spending money on dryer sheets. Instead roll up a ball of aluminium foil and add to the drum when you're drying your clothes. This will help to remove static and separate the clothes.
Always Shake Clothes
Always shake clothes once you take them out of the washing machine or dryer to keep garments in shape and minimise creasing.
Always try to dry your clothes outside if you can. Not only is it better for the environment but an outside breeze dries almost all materials quickly and effectively.
The UK weather can be very temperamental, so drying outside isn't always an option! When space is tight maximise space indoors with a radiator airer. The extra rails gives you much more drying space than just placing clothes on your radiator, plus it minimises creases so less ironing!
