Love it Clean is our contribution to making not only homes a cleaner place – but also the environment.
Addressing industrial and consumer waste is one of the most important environmental issues. Our oceans, agriculture and quality of life ultimately depend on how businesses and consumers address the human impact on earth. Waste in the environment is a global issue that requires action. As a manufacturer of world-renowned cleaning brands we have a responsibility to preserve our planet for future generations.
We focus on three main areas where we believe we can make the biggest difference – by creating products that last, by giving materials a second life and designing out waste.
“Making our economy sustainable is not a coincidence, but the direct result of actions we take – as companies and consumers. We can be proud of our achievements to date. Our durable products help save waste, while delivering excellent product performance. In recent years we continuously increased the use of recycled plastics in our solid plastic products from 15 to over 40 percent. Nearly all our plastic packaging is recyclable. But we have a responsibility to continuously improve and make a difference where we can. That is why we founded our corporate initiative Love It Clean, which embodies our core belief that we have a responsibility for future generations. For the upcoming years we are dedicated to achieving ambitious goals, and we are a signatory of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation‘s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment. Because we believe that in sustainability less is more, we want to continue reducing waste, fostering sustainable packaging, designing out virgin plastic and focus on what we do best: Creating high quality products that last.””

WE GIVE MATERIALS A SECOND LIFE
REDUCE materials through redesign and innovation | 5.000 t CO² saved.
As a company we already decided in the 80s to avoid the harmful plasticiser PVC in all our products.
We constantly strive to minimise the amount of packaging material we use. We have developed a holistic approach that considers packaging performance and environmental impact across the supply chain. We take new, innovative packaging materials into account that help to reduce the impact on the environment.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world‘s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. Often, the limits set for the STANDARD 100 exceed national and international requirements. Many of our textile floor cleaning products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. This confirms: our products have been tested for harmful substances and are safe in terms of human ecology.
We use a unique technology to reduce the content of virgin raw material in a variety of brooms. This makes the broom head lighter and allows us to save plastic. Also, a variety of our products are certified by Plastica Seconda Vita.
Our long-lasting, washable products keep your home and your conscience clean.
Our durable products help reduce the amount of disposable waste. Most of our microfibre refills last more than two years. Even if you wash them regularly.
Our high quality refills with their powerful microfibre reduce the amount of chemical agents necessary for a thorough clean and they even remove 99% of bacteria - just with water.* (the test methodology included testing on 2 most common in home bacteria (E. coli and S. aureus) on hardwood floor & ceramic tile surfaces)
